Avoiding risk situations
As it works with companies in the chemical/petrochemical, food and all the manufacturing sectors, Norbert Dentressangle is called upon to transport and store dangerous substances. By anticipating and managing risks, our teams’ objective is to avoid all types of accident linked to the transport and storage of dangerous substances (explosions, fire, water pollution, inhalation of toxic gases). Our teams are trained to anticipate and react to any risks and our buildings are equipped to ensure optimum safety standards (sprinklers, holding tanks, etc.).
Our initiatives aimed at ensuring the safe transport and storage of dangerous substances:
- In terms of transport, our distribution networks are ADR certified (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road)
- Our drivers are trained and able to react in the event of risks occurring
- Our drivers are familiar with and respect the regulations concerning dangerous substances. In addition, they know and apply the particular specifications of their customers and the site, to which they make deliveries (e.g. airports).
- Our driver-refuelling operators working in bulk transport are known for their professionalism and expertise in making deliveries to oil sites and service stations
- The wearing of Personal Protection Equipment is compulsory for all employees who come into contact with dangerous substances
