Norbert Dentressangle lifts training trophy at industry oscars

Norbert Dentressangle has beaten off stiff competition to win the training category at the prestigious 2012 Motor Transport Awards, often referred to as the ‘Oscars’ of the logistics industry.

Norbert Dentressangle Learning & Development Managers, Chris Dolby (Logistics) and Dawn Boatswain (Transport Services) received the trophy from Will Shiers, Editor of Commercial Motor in front of an audience of 1,600 logistics and transport professionals, at the sell-out award ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 13 June. 

 

Norbert Dentressangle is committed to the training and development of its colleagues and, despite tough economic conditions, has continued to invest in the development and delivery of bespoke training programmes at all levels of the business for the shared benefit of its employees, the business and its customers.

 

Norbert Dentressangle’s award entry focused on the company’s Management Development Programme, safe driving plan and driver CPC training. Comments from the judges included “Good detailed savings, good evidence of promotions”, “a very good management programme for potential leaders” and “very well explained quantifiable outcomes”.
