From product assembly through to labelling, the UK Logistics team is able to contribute to improving ambient and temperature controlled warehoused products. The Objective: to bring added value to the original product.

The UK Logistics team ensures correct order preparations and offers added value services to all kinds of products, be they simple or more complex in nature:
- simple assembly,
- kitting (assembly of up to 6 different components, specifically for the mobile telephone markets),
- preparation of products following "recipes" for industrial manufacturers in the foodstuffs markets,
- co-packing (for promotional packages: refer below),
- packing (film wrapping, made-to-order repackaging, boxing),
- labelling (in Braille, in any language).

A closer look at co-packing

For their customers' promotional special offers, the Norbert Dentressangle teams are
experienced in compiling new products based on several constituent components -commonly known as co-packing.
For such operations, the Group automates certain technical actions or calls upon its own teams for simpler operations, including simple boxing. Demanding rapid responses, such activities consequently require rigorous planning management.
For the customer, co-packing carried out by the Logistics provider presents three major advantages:
- provision of a dedicated warehouse for storage and assembly,
- significant reduction in delays and costs by avoiding transport between several sites,
- improvements in the responsiveness and flexibility of order preparation.
