Collective small products preparation offers an effective answer to dealing with large numbers of product references with multiple order lines.
 The principle
Small product order preparation (per item) requires a large warehouse area and a considerable workforce. To cope with these problems, the Norbert Dentressangle Group offers collective preparation. This service is based on 3 processes, which are defined according to the number of references and recipients.
Successive sorting: large number of recipients.
Total collection is carried out by a team, followed by successive sorting for each recipient by the order preparer.
Multi-order pick-and-pack: large number of references/small number of recipients.
Orders are prepared for several customers before the same picking: the product is scanned, then deposited in the identified parcel which itself is scanned.
Sorting machine: highly seasonal products /small number of recipients.
The items are collected on a sorting machine which allocates them automatically to exit/orders.
